SLEEP THROUGH STORMS was started by Joe, Jonathan & Alex in January 2012, playing their first show at Excalibur V&V, with an Alternative Post-Rock sound with elements of many other things. Honestly can't quite put it in a genre. Carrying on throughout venues in Alabama until December 2012. Joe moved to Keyboards, Jonathan moved to Guitar and Nick Wells played Bass, performing shows in that formation until the last show we played at the Zydeco, Birmingham in May 2013.
We had more songs, but unfortunately never got to recording them. We all really enjoyed what we were doing, playing at least 30 memorable gigs together, with groups such as Andy Asteroids, Barnstormers, Burning Cypress, Cloud Gavin, Estelle's Grave, Hipbones, Kudzu, Latin for Truth, Laura Stevenson & the Cans, The Maple Key, Younger Siblings, and many more great acts.
Now, Jonathan is still in BELIAL, and Nick and Alex are in KUDZU - Both have music on here that I recommend checking out:

But we put a whole lot into the EP. Great songs. and great times - recording the music, rehearsing the music, the shows, hanging around each other, and all the friends we made along the way.
